Company History

APS was formed in 1984 to supply turnkey systems and bespoke applications based on multi-user Hewlett Packard mini-computer systems.

With the release of Windows NT, we started to turn our attention to multi-user PC client server applications. This sector of the company has grown over the years and now represents the major part of our business.

APS is a software house located in Hythe, Hampshire, between the Western shore of the Solent and the New Forest. We have always provided high quality software (both bespoke and packaged) to a small, typically specialised customer base. We have focused on industries that have needs that are not met by off-the-peg solutions and who are prepared to develop applications with us that will give them an advantage over their competition. We develop on the Hewlett Packard HP3000 and Windows 98/NT/2000/2003 platforms.

Our first PC application, BACS~LINK 3000, was originally developed with Microsoft Visual Basic 3. Our expertise has spanned the releases of Visual Basic 4, 5, 6 and now VB.Net 2005 and 2008.
